1. Ben's new food account has been set up and used by him successfully. It was really refreshing to not have a little note in his folder today.
2. Due to the large classes in the Kindergarten this year, a new class has been formed. We, the parents were asked if we would volunteer for our child to be moved. I, of course, said no because Ben has such difficulty during transition times. So, they move him anyway. He starts in Ms. Yute's class tomorrow. Well, CRAP, why did you ask me if you were just going to do it anyway?!?!?
3. Perhaps this class change will be good for him. He received a "great day" smiley face today. If he gets at least three of them this week, then he's picked out a reward for himself.

Don't you love it when they ask your opinion and then do what they want anyway? Grrrrrrrr.
Here's hoping the new teacher and the new smaller class size is a good fit. I'm betting it is. ;-)

So far, we've had smiley faces this week. And, best of all, one of Ben's girlfriends from Pre-K is now in his new class. He's delighted.
